Factors Influencing Learners’ Engagement in the Classroom

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many sectors including education, either secondary, primary, and higher education institutions (HEIs). Lecturers learners faced challenges to interact effectively since there is a new transition in teaching mode from physical class (F2F) online learning. In other words, learning becomes more difficult, particularly during the earlier year of for both parties due various reasons. One major reasons lack learners' engagement classroom, which caused emotions motivation learn have been drop significantly. realizing that enhancing learners’ performance become an important element academic success, this paper tries explore influential factors related classroom. data collected using quantitative method through distribution questionnaire QS degree students. Using factor analysis, it was found contributor might influence learner factor, followed by lecturer educational or institutional factors. Looking into situation, much effort highly needed lecturers faculty enhance their performance.
